Tabatha L. Trotter

Tabatha was born in Madrid Spain to active-duty parents who both served in the U.S. Air Force. This required her to move frequently. When Tabatha moved from one place to another, she embraced the turbulence instead of being troubled by it! Since childhood, she was a mover and a shaker, and she could always make friends no matter where she went.

She decided to join the United States Navy from her Denver, Colorado home in April 1999. To enlist in the armed forces, she needed parental consent despite not being an adult. She shared with them that the Navy offered much-needed money for college, and that helped her gain their approval.
Tabatha served on active duty for more than 5 years during which time she participated in the Global War Against Terrorism (GWOT).

Through her employment with a non-profit organization, she helps fellow service members and veterans reintegrate back into the civilian workforce, as well as those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless find employment, training, housing assistance, clothing, and other supportive services to help them live a full and fulfilled life.
