Deona “(Dee)” Dorsey
Deona “(Dee)” Dorsey has over 20 years’ experience supporting organizations that focus on helping families improve the quality of their lives. As a connector and champion for communities in need she can live out her passion work.
Deona continues to reflect on the wisdom of her grandmother, Dr. L.A. Gonzales, who was an educator and advocate for children who experienced trauma. Because of her influence, Deona enjoys volunteering and supporting positive efforts in the diverse communities of San Diego.
In her current professional role Deona combines her philanthropic drive through Workforce Development.Deona has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration with a Marketing concentration and a Master’s degree in International Relations.
